An account requires a valid email address. An activation link will be sent to that account within a few minutes of registering, so please be patient. Accounts that are created but not activated within 24 hours may be removed -- don't worry, the email system can sometimes be slow, but it usually sends out an activation email within half an hour of registration.
An account is required to post on the forums. A premium account is required to play online in KarBOOM 0.2 or later (versions prior to this do not have online play).
While KarBOOM is in open alpha, all accounts are automatically upgraded to premium accounts for free upon creation.
Use a username you are happy to stick with, since only one username can be associated with each email address. Premium accounts cannot be deleted without my own intervention at this stage.
I'm aware that the forum is light on features, and would really appreciate your input so I know what features are important. Some BBCode does work: [b][/b], [i][/i], [u][/u], [s][/s], as well as [url], [url=], [img] tags for links and images. Use the forums to report bugs, give me feedback on the game, organise online games, discuss KarBOOM, or just get to know other KarBOOM players!
DO NOT post pornographic images. I don't want to see them, this isn't the place for them, and they will be removed. Accounts that offend may be banned from the forum at my discretion.

A premium account is a KarBOOM account that can be used in the game to play with others online.
